In this blog, I am sharing how I use technology to solve problems every day. This is what I work on everyday, so I am just writing about the things I do everyday – solving problems, learning about new technologies, trying out new technologies, building internet applications, putting technologies to work in my personal life and business. Technology is great, but until you really make it work for you, it’s just another tool sitting in your tool box. I hope by sharing my ideas, you will be more effective in using technology to solve the problems you find.
Since 1977, I have been finding the best way to implement technologies for personal and business use. During that time I have taught Computer Science, consulted with businesses all across the country about applying technology to their operations, built and implemented software systems and participated in several Internet startups.
Today, I am the CTO for MBO Partners. In that role, I lead the technology development and implementation of the web based systems that support thousands of independent consultants all across the country. These system help consultants operate their practices in a more effective and efficient way.
I like to build WordPress web sites, work with inner city kids, sail on Lake Hefner, scuba dive in the Carribean, travel around the world, spend time with my wife, kids and grandson and take pictures of it all.
