We got to the 4th of July concert early to get a good seat. I wandered around saying hi to friends, got water for my wife and grandson, and sat down to wait for the concert to start. Then I saw it – a big electronic billboard to the right of the stage. It was showing messages from the crowd. It also displayed instructions on where to text messages and email pictures. Now this is how to entertain a crowd!
I texted a greeting to some friends, texted “Hi” to my grandson, emailed a picture of my wife and my grandson, and settled in to watch for my messages. Amazing! There they came.
I am sure this is not new, but I hadn’t seen it before. What a great way to get us all to watch a billboard. We all like to see our names and messages up in lights. How clever of them to encourage us with technology almost everyone can access.
Now everyone has an input device in his pocket. What problems can you solve with that? Let me know your ideas.

Need to do these at football games and other sporting events. How about on Jerry’s big screens in his new stadium?
